Keeping Kids Safe In The Dark With Reflective Wear from ZAPPED
What if your kids could be wearing hi vis clothing but still look cool at the same time?

The Zapped tag line Play Hard / Be Seen runs close to the heart. For anyone that has been following along with me for awhile might know that I am a special needs mom. Our daughter is not always super aware of her surroundings (is any kid?) so it makes me feel a little more at ease knowing she can be seen in the dark. Every kid wants to play hard, but us parents want kids to also BE SEEN for the incredible humans they are.

First Fully Reflective Kids Essentials Line
The collection is built for kids between the ages of 6 and 12 and is waterproof, resilient, FULLY REFLECTIVE and designed with an edgy style for rugged active play. Each article features custom designed fabric that is embedded with glass beads that reflect light at night. It’s the first line of fully reflective active gear for kids!
What we are wearing:
I let my oldest daughter choose two pieces from the Zapped lineup and she picked the jacket and hat. When the package arrived we were so excited to see the reflective material in action. You can simply turn your flash on in your camera settings before snapping a photo to see the gear light up. Your kids will love it!
The fleece lining throughout the jacket and nice big pockets are awesome. I especially love the flip back brim on the hood that prevents rain from dripping onto her face. Our weather is getting quite cool here in Alberta already, but you can easily layer a fleece under to keep warm. The quality on the jacket is great I’m thinking this would be one of the best backpacks for her and will most likely be our next purchase.

How Zapped Is Giving Back
To celebrate the launch, Zapped has partnered with backpackbuddies.ca, which helps fill children’s backpacks with food items for the weekend, when other food programs are unavailable. The second is rubensshoes.com, which donates shoes to kids in developing countries who might otherwise miss school due to a lack of footwear. ZAPPED has ongoing relationship with both organizations to donate proceeds from shoe and backpack sales.
